Little Tips when adding load to the lifting hook:
.Straight shank hooks are used on the pedestal, and the horn chain hooks are used on the jib crane or electric hoist. When loading a load on the lifting hook, pay attention to the following problems.
.When two slings are placed in the hook, the angle from the vertical plane to the sling may not be greater than 45°, and the angle between the two slings shall not exceed 90°.
.If the angle between the two slings is greater than 90 degrees, the intermediate sling should be used. If the main sling or bolt-type shackle is used to hang two slings, the intermediate sling can be hung on the hook and on the same axis. This method can also be used on three or more synthetic sling combinations.
.Make sure that all rigging material is hung in the hook and the safety tongue is closed.
.Do not hang a single point on the hook.
