Hardware rigging such as lifting shackle is an important accessory in lifting operation. The shackles commonly used in the domestic market are generally divided into three categories according to production standards: national standard, American standard and Japanese standard; among them, American standard is the most commonly used because of its volume. The small load bearing is large and widely used.
The shackle is mainly composed of a main body and a pin. The body has an arcuate or straight shape. For specific applications, screw-type pin bolts can be used for each body opening. According to the type, it can be divided into G209 (BW), G210 (DW), G2130 (BX), G2150 (DX). According to the place of use, it can be divided into two types: marine and land.
When selecting the correct shackle, please refer to the product size table for the safe working load of the shackles of different sizes. The size of the shackle is based on the diameter of the arcuate portion (body diameter) rather than the size of the pin.
If using a shackle in extreme conditions (for example, temperatures above 204°C or below -40°C, or exposure to corrosive fumes), please consult your supplier in advance.
